Yesterday, I found a new and interesting thing on Google. Having my time Googling, I realize that below search box, there’s a link mentioning about the new Google Chrome,, I was wondering what it was. So without questioning more I went there. Whoaa!! It’s the new Google’s very own browser, I don’t know about you (you should try it, here is the download page) but I love it!! There’s no such thing that we usually call toolbar, it’s kind little bit has the same idea as the new IE, but still Google has more taste about design.
Yeah, look at the screenshot, when you open Chrome you’ll be displayed with boxes contain screenshots of your most visited websites, you can click on them to go directly those website. No more typing job for your hand just to visit your favourite website.
From my point of view it’s a great combination of Firefox, IE, and Safari with a bit taste of Opera. Larger area of your displaying website, more flexible and handy shortcut, adding a bookmarks on your toolbar. They really got my attention with their minimalize design.
Ok, I couldn’t tell you more cause I’m still exploring this new browser launched by the webmaster himself. First, you maybe already knew this one, meta tag. Second one, and Google will give more attention to this one start from this year ahead.
Geo tag consist of informations about your site’s location, Google will use this informations to set how your site will appear on search result of location you’ve specified. There were two ways you can insert this information, first you could insert some short script to your blog consisting infos about your target location’s coordinate, area name, and country code. Here’s one example :

<META NAME=”geo.placename” CONTENT=”area name”>
You see there are three parts of geo tag, the first part shows your blog’s geographic location based on its latitude and longitude. Second one, shows your blog’s country ID, specify where your target location is with this tool. Then, finally on the third part you should fill it with its area or place’s name. To make it easier for you, here’s an example if your blog’s location is in London.

Now, you’re ready to place this script to your sites. Looks little bit difficult for you? Log in to Google Webmaster, then you’re ready to go with these simple steps : sign in with your Google’s account, go to tools, choose geographic target and follow instructions there.
